In the beginning, there was Dubin Cleaners. Dubin Cleaners was established in the year 1946 in Rosedale Park by father and son, Sam and Irvin Dubin, and existed for 45 years. Andy started his career at the family plant at the young age of eight earning 25 cents an hour. After the sale of Dubin Cleaners in 1991, the route was retained and built upon by Andy and Sandy Dubin, son and daughter-in-law of Irvin and Pearl Dubin.

Following the birth of their son Sammy in 1991, a new company was formed: A.S. Services, Inc. Confident that one day we would eventually establish our own plant, Dubin Cleaners of Farmington Hills was realized. Determination was strong, which enabled us to build a successful dry cleaning plant. In the Fall of 2010 we built a larger, new plant, Dubin Cleaners & Laundry located in Farmington Hills north of 13 Mile Road West of Orchard Lake Road offering service of Flatwork on site.  In 2017 an additional location in West Bloomfield was added to provide shirt laundry along with wash and fold.

4th generation in the business— Sam Dubin graduated from Central Michigan University in 2014 and came on board as the director of sales/ marketing and co-owner. Sam has a background in broadcast journalism and truly enjoys using his journalistic skills at Dubin Cleaners & Laundry. Sam operates the West Bloomfield location. Sam coordinates all of our community outreach effort to include our Annual Winter Warmth Campaign.

Andy and Sandy can be found at Farmington Hills location during operating hours. All dry cleaning is done on site by our experienced dry cleaner of more than 30 years, and pressers of 30+ years each. The Dubin Team is overseen by Sandy Dubin. Clean and pure solvent is used in the dry cleaning process.

On Saturdays donuts are served while people meet and greet with an assortment of candy to grab…an extension of our home to yours. while treats have been temporary discontinued due to the pandemic we look forward to resuming this soon.
